Job description

Airswift is seeking to invite an experienced IT Project Manager capable of managing strategic IT projects, including the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversees all aspects of projects.


  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors, and summarizes progress of project.
  • Works directly with the IT team and project stakeholders, including vendors. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project and risks.

Project planning and management

  • Leading project planning sessions and ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant IT stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
  • Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary

Stakeholder management

  • Coordinating with all stakeholders, like external vendors and internal resources, maintaining relationship
  • Ensuring ownership for each task for the projects.

Tracking and reporting

  • Overseeing all project documentation, incoming and outgoing.
  • Managing project progress and adapt work as required
  • Reporting progress

Risk management

  • Designing risk mitigation plan, report and escalate to IT management as needed


  • Degree in Computing Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Proven working experience in project management in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project Management Tool, including slide creation with PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and project tracking skills
  • Excellent vendor-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Experience in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to work independently and being a team player and travel when needed
