Job Description

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated IT Technical Writer to join our HPC team!  

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products and services.  You will work collaboratively with architects, product managers, operational and support staff to document products, policy, procedures, and guidelines.

Principle Accountabilities 

  • Meet with subject-matter experts to gain understanding of topics to be addressed.
  • Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for the greatest reader comprehension.
  • Produce quality documents that meet applicable standards.
  • Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedures, guidelines, or other forms of documentation.
  • Analyze existing documentation to consolidate content and format to applicable standards.
  • Review, evaluate and edit content developed by other members of the team.
  • Check technical documentation for consistency and accuracy.
  • Ensure documentation complies with applicable certification requirements.

This position is a fixed-term contract for six months, with the possibility of renewal for an equal or longer duration.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in technical writing
  • Ability to deliver quality documentation paying attention to detail
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
  • Excellent written skills in English.  French also preferred (but not required).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of ISMS principles
  • Experience of creating and maintaining documentation to support ISO standards.
