You will act as a member of the Software Center of Excellence, representing high-quality design and development practices.

As a Java Architect, you will be responsible for:

  • Understanding product requirements and identifying the scope of the work, provide the initial estimate and justify the estimate with facts
  • Participating in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
  • Assisting in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
  • Gathering and analyzing data and develop architectural requirements at project level.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
  • Understanding  concepts of setting and driving architecture direction and  key cross-functional concepts that impact the organization; is aware of business priorities and organizational dynamics.
  • Maintaining code quality through best practices, unit testing, and code quality automation
  • Demonstrating the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment
  • Driving design reviews, define interfaces between code modules, and applies existing technology to designs
  • Being an expert in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices etc
  • Coaching  and mentoring  team members
  • Delivering tasks on-time with alignment to architectural goals. Can identify and raise issues, risks and benefits.
  • Participating in change initiatives by implementing new directions and providing appropriate information and feedback

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a graduate degree with minimum 9+ years of experience developing new user-facing features.
  • Should be having minimum 4 years relevant experience working as an Architect.
  • Be able to build value proposition with total customer focus.
  • Have a proficiency in Java and developing web applications/microservices using Spring Boot, RESTful, and Web Services etc.
  • Have a proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • Have an experience on Angular or React
  • Have the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks.
  • Have the ability to make basic technology choices based on experience.
  • Have experience in one or multiple Databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL, and NoSQL.
  • Have Knowledge of Secured Software development practices is must.
  • Exposure to NodeJS will be an added advantage.
  • Exposure to Cloud Technologies and successfully executed projects would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly analytical
  • Bring great, fresh ideas to the team that are project appropriate.
