As a Lead Electrical Building Installations Engineer, you will primarily be involved in the design and calculation of complex electrical systems. The projects you work on are almost always multidisciplinary, requiring collaboration with other fields such as architecture and mechanical engineering.
You will guide and develop the design of the installation while overseeing the work of modelers. As a Lead, you will oversee calculations and designs for electrical systems in various building projects. These projects involve medium and low voltage systems, lighting, fire safety, detection systems, and communication networks.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing necessary calculations and circuit diagrams
Leading the design process of the electrical installations
Managing one or more project teams
Collaborating with architects and engineers to create an integrated design
Overseeing technical specifications and cost estimates
Ensuring quality control and managing design changes
Advising the client and project partners
What do we expect from you?
Completed MBO or HBO qualification in Electrical Engineering
Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in building-related electrical installations
Proficiency in AutoCAD, StabiCad, and Revit (MEP)
Strong knowledge of current electrical engineering concepts and unit pricing
Familiarity with or willingness to learn BIM methodologies
Excellent communication and writing skills in both Dutch and English
