Lead Instrumentation Engineer

Job Title: Lead Instrumentation Engineer

Language required: Required: English & Dutch

Job Specification:

• Being in charge of several projects (smaller projects)
• Doing technical activities (preparing I&C deliverables, site visits, meetings,…)
• Controlling a team (1-3 people)
• Ability to operate in a multi office environment and experience outsourcing work to other countries (Mumbai)
• Cannot live too far from Limburg as you will have to be in office 50% of the time
• Preparing technical documents, yourself
• Taking a lead role – biggest teams (5 people max)
• Have knowledge of both Instrumentation and Controls
• Does not need to be a lead engineer with experience leading massive projects

Essential Skills:

• Ability to read Dutch at the very least – does not need to be a native speaker but have some level of Dutch
• Need to be able to make deliverables solo
• Does not need to be an AutoCAD or SPI draftsman
• Experience/Ability to make data sheets for field instruments
• Design typical loop diagrams and wiring concepts
• Prepare specs for (extension of) Control / safeguarding systems
• Preparing software documents like logic diagrams, control diagrams,etc
• Take charge in a team
• Make man hour estimates, monitor progress
• Coordinate with other technical disciplines and Vendors, clients, Project Mangers etc..

Contract Length: 12 months contract then Permanent

Schedule: 40 hours working week

Earliest Start Date: ASAP
