As a Lead Laboratory Engineer – Drilling & Completion Fluids, you’ll be responsible for post-sales support of customer issue for drilling cervices fluids. You’ll perform on repairs (both returns and field), technical support or a field service and/or other services requests. You’ll lead and contribute to the development of an operational year plan for activities of the team.
As a Lead Laboratory Engineer – Drilling & Completion Fluids, you’ll be responsible for:
Providing resolution of post-sales technical customer issues and technical support.
Leading team and other contacts that are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information.
Handling simple project processes in which there are detailed guidelines for production and/or simple human interfaces requiring little technical knowledge.
Handling and supporting region laboratory, designing, executing and evaluating mud formulation, troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, calibration and repair on equipment.
Handling targeted clients and other contracts that are predefined and a framework of conditions is set and followed.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or related
Have professional experience with oil-based drilling fluids on several different projects more than 5 – 7 years.
Have good communication in English with interpersonal skills.
Show ability to work independently with good problem-solving skills.
Be available to join our team and to work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia without a need for a visa/work permit.
