Lead Sales Specialist – Proposal

We operate at the heart of the Commercial Proposal of our business. Our team is responsible for preparing proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment, working on the basis of a predefined sales plan.

You will prepare proposals and bids, participate in negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment. You will contribute to the sales plan in a specific region and define strategy for target clients.
As a Lead Sales specialist – Proposal, you will be responsible for:
- Developing proposals negotiating with customers, ensuring deals deliver shareholder value and driving competitive pricing (may include compiling and submitting required tender documentation)
- Handling standardized products with pre-defined options requiring simple client advice
- Contributing to prices and conditions and on the basis of predefined contract price frameworks deviating from prices and conditions
- Handling diverse clients in a region
- Cooperating with (technical) sales support to realize sales
- Leading a department with medium-sized estimated orders.
- Handling local focus on Small-Medium size territory

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in a Sales / Proposal environment
- Be a natural, proactive communicator with good customer service skills and be fluent in English
- Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Have an organized approach to problem solving with good analytical skills
