Our client is a world’s leading Offshore Wind Developer and currently they are looking for below role. Logistic & Planning Manager (Electrical and Commissioning)Contract Duration: 
Aug-2021 – Jun-2022

Role objective:
Responsible for coordination of logistics of personnel, material and equipm ent, Contract management and coordination of work scope with (sub)con tractors.


  • To plan and coordinate all offshore logistics for personnel, material and equipment
  • To purchase material and equipment needed or requested by offshore team for to establish their daily works
  • Participate in coordination and logistic planning meetings
  • To coordinate offshore technicians for to establish their daily offshore works.
  • Review RAMS supplied by contractors and client
  • Manage the WA and RAMS process for suppliers, contractors and client
  • Manage the overall commissioning progress with project planners
  • Report commissioning progress/participate in commissioning meetings.
  • To coordinate the maintenance service on all LV and aux. systems
  • To coordinate and manage defect rectification process with suppliers, contractors and client
  • To manage contract and coordinate offshore activities with main suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • To coordinate and ensure the collaboration between commissioning team and document control management


  • Manage overall commissioning time schedule, including key milestones.
  • Coordinate and plan daily offshore logistics for personnel, material and equipment
  • Coordinate the offshore daily commissioning activities performed by suppliers, contractors and client.
  • Ensure all LV and aux. systems are maintained within the required time
  • Ensure all defects cases are rectified within required time frame
  • Ensure that the commissioning activities are in compliance with the project HSE rules and local legislation.
  • Report offshore commissioning progress to the project and to the site & commissioning manager.
  • Contribute actively to evaluation of the project and capture lessons learnt throughout the project.
  • Coordinate supplier crew and offshore logistics.
  • To coordinate the maintenance service on all LV and aux. systems

  • Input to Technical Record File (TRF).
  • Input to HSE and HAZID.
  • Input to tender material.
  • Quality Activity Schedule (QAS)
  • Commissioning CTQ’s
  • Control plans
  • Product Conformance report
  • Status reports Project documents
  • Maintenance and service documentation.
  • punch list.
  • Status reporting from construction site.
  • Lessons learnt.
  • QA plan.
  • Comm. Matrix.

Decision authority:

  • Request commissioning resources internally and externally including replace resources if required.
  • Launch required project activities in order to facilitate commissioning progress within approved scope and budget.
  • Propose mitigations and supplier follow-up actions to the Substations project manager and Electrical project manager.
  • Take site specific/quality decisions in relation to suppliers.


  • Five years of relevant project experience required.
  • Good project management skills, coordination skills and a talent for driving solutions to achieve outcomes in a fast paced environment.
  • Commissioning experience within the field of MV/HV equipment, SCADA, low voltage and utility installations and components.
  • Experience with offshore substation work.
