ExxonMobil is looking for outstanding candidates to be part of the ExxonMobil Chemical Company (EMCC) supply chain and contribute to the success of a growing chemical business. Logistics Coordinators are responsible for planning efficient supply chain operations and coordinating with both internal and external interfaces.
These positions will be located at our headquarters facilities in Spring, Texas. As part of ExxonMobil, you can expect to rotate through two to three assignments in the first approximately six years allowing for a variety of experiences to build skills and knowledge. Demonstrated performance will lead to a career path with increasing responsibility and leadership opportunities within EMCC Supply Chain, other functions/business lines within EMCC, or other divisions across ExxonMobil.
Primary Job Functions:
• Provide oversight to 3rd party service providers (TPSPs), ensuring compliance with EM policies • Provide technical advice/support for daily operational issues • Manage change process for product/network/service changes affecting relevant TPSPs • Perform logistics & distribution (L&D) optimization, troubleshooting, de-bottlenecking activities • Investigate & resolve root cause for L&D-related customer feedback • Develop and execute L&D projects to drive value chain capture/creation
• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or other engineering/technical degree from an accredited university • 1-5 years supply chain experience, petrochemical/chemical/refinery industry preferred
• Team player with strong communication, interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and ownership of tasks • Ability to manage multiple interfaces and prioritize work • Familiarity with SAP applications a plus
