What you’ll do:
Based in Brisbane, the Campaign Maintenance Planner will play a significant role in planning and coordinating maintenance, processing, and contractor activities for our maintenance campaigns.
You will aim to minimise downtime and utilise resources efficiently within EHS guidelines. You will be responsible for ensuring operational and maintenance functions of Santos Upstream activities flow effectively.
This position is offered on a permanent full-time basis, Monday to Friday with ad hoc site travel.
Key accountabilities include:
- Plan nominated major and unit campaign activities as per the Annual Master Plan.
- Develop and combine work scopes from Process, Maintenance and Projects into a deliverable execution
- Prepare work packages for all trade disciplines (scaffolding, lagging, fitting, electrical, psv’s)
- Develop an overall schedule for all activities showing the critical path and optimizing the use of resources and personnel for all work.
- Coordinate contractors and specialised equipment for use in the designated campaign.
- Liaise with Area Schedulers and Maintenance Supervisors to carry out pre-shutdown preparation work and other maintenance work during the outage.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of standardised Campaign Maintenance procedures as per the Operational Excellence Framework.
- Resourcing of materials for shutdown activities in conjunction with stores.
- Capturing an accurate record of activities during the outage and inputting into CMMS
- Closing out all activities in CMMS and in the work-packs relating to the Campaign activities.
- Build rapport and be equipped with strong communication skills across the board dealing with operations personnel.
- Assist with plant shutdowns during unplanned or emergency situations.
- Monitor operations and identify situations where costs could be minimised.
- Communicate opportunities for improvement when they are identified in all areas and activities.
- Use all Santos IT systems required for day-to-day operations to maximise efficiencies (e.g., SAP, EHS Toolbox, etc.)
- Adhere to Reliability Management Plans & Integrity Management Plans.
- To conduct operations and activities in accordance with Santos’ Environmental Policies, Codes of Environmental Practice and Environmental Guidelines
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas industry or related.
- Previous experience in Planning and / or shutdowns.
- Procurement/Materials Management experience.
- Qualified in a trade background or related experience in a similar field
