Marketing & Communications Intern


Precision is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented individual as a Marketing and Communications Intern. This internship will provide valuable, real-world experience supporting Precision’s Marketing team and social media functions.   • Source and curate social media assets and adapt for each channel
  • Help to produce promotional material (brochures, case studies, etc.)
  • Market and competition analysis regarding marketing collateral
  • Support messaging and project execution related to brand initiatives
  • Research industry and competitive trends and data to inform product and marketing strategies
  • Assist in maintaining company-wide social media calendar
  • Design post-campaign analytics reports
  • Update monthly metrics for corporate social media channels
  • Research and report on current and cultural industry trends, technologies, and best-in-class social media practices
  • Working collaboratively with the social media specialist on researching, writing and curating social media posts
  • Make recommendations for improvements on current programs, as well as for new campaigns/strategies
  • Monitor online comments and respond or forward to the Marketing department
  • Perform other marketing duties relevant to promoting the brand


Knowledge & Skills

A focus on marketing, social media or communications is considered an asset

Internship is full-time, qualified candidates will be available for 40 hours/week

Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple requests and projects while maintaining close attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational skills

Experience with PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite

Ambition, strong spirit of initiative, ability to work to objectives and meet deadlines, proactivity and flexibility.

Interest in Energy services industry

General knowledge of all Social Media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)




Must be pursuing or just completed a degree in Marketing/Communication, Digital Marketing, Design, Public Relations, or related program



Previous experience working in a professional office environment is an asset
Previous experience working in a team orientated, collaborative environment is required
