The position

By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work in a highly competent and multidisciplinary technical team in close proximity to the plant.

  • Closely follow up the technical integrity of the plant and evaluate and assess compliance with technical requirements.

  • Enhance your professional skills within static mechanical equipment, piping, layout and/or valves.

  • Monitor and follow-up the technical condition of equipment and systems at the plant.

  • Be an active contributor in risk management with collaboration between maintenance-, production-, and technical departments.

  • Provide input and technical support to modifications, projects, plant shutdowns, and revision shutdowns.

  • Contribute to plant optimisation, including energy and emission reducing measures.

  • Build your competence through the professional networks.

You

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of mechanical engineering, and you have minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.   

  • You have knowledge and experience from at least one of the following areas: piping engineering, static mechanical equipment (heat exchangers, pressure vessels), valve technology, fitness for service.  

  • It is an advantage if you have experience from an operational asset. 

  • You have experience in systematically identifying, assessing and managing risks 

  • You are a team player with experience in operating within a multidisciplinary environment

  • You are a fast learner and take an active role in building your own competence and network  

  • You have good communication skills in English and Norwegian (written and spoken), and you have a desire to work in Hammerfest.
