Pipeline Engineer

Leap29 Nederland B.V. is currently searching for a talented and experienced Pipeline Engineer to join a dynamic team. This is a full-time position located close to Zaandam, with a flexible schedule that includes 2-3 office days and regular site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain pipeline systems to ensure safe and efficient transportation of materials.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage and oversee pipeline construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of pipeline systems to ensure operational integrity.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the operations team in resolving pipeline-related issues.
• Prepare and review technical reports, documentation, and safety case amendments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipeline engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch and international safety regulations and standards.
• Proven expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, and emergency preparedness.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with pipeline construction and maintenance in high-risk operational environments.
• Familiarity with industry-specific tools and databases.
• Certification in ISO standards and incident investigation.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to travel for site visits and inspections.
