Job Description

NES Fircroft are partnering with a national mining company who are recognised as one of the leading industry employers in Australia. The dedicated professional will come in as a Principle Planner to support their team who work across two seperate open cut mine operations. The role is a hybrid role which is split between site travel and office based employment, the successful candidate will become a core part of the project team, proactively engaging with study and delivery personnel. 

In this role you will be involved in:

  • Develop baseline schedules and manage/monitor/analyse integrated schedules against established baseline and KPIs
  • Monitor critical path activities and provide updates and analysis, including possible mitigation efforts to minimise impacts
  • Analyse impact of various schedule concerns and offer guidance and solutions
  • Development & maintenance of project progress reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.

The successful candidste will have: 

  • Previous site mining experience
  • Well versed in Primevera P6 software and
  • Hold an Engineering degree or equivelant education 
  • 5+ yrs in Project Planning & Project Scheduling 
  • Have full Australian working rights.
