ExxonMobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region. 

 

ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

 

ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.

The Global Business Center – Technology Center provides a range of technical and business support services for ExxonMobil’s operations around the globe.

What role you will play in our team

  • Support Procurement process and system design that meets the controls and performance requirements of the business by working with partners i.e., IT or external vendors. Applies SAP Security, MM (Material Management) knowledge to facilitate system sustainment health with appropriate management controls.

What you will do

  • Custodian of SAP MM roles – Review access requirement, perform risk assessment, role design Collaboration with IT on role creation/modification and approve the role changes.

  • Analyze SOD (Segregation of Duties) Conflicts and define incompatibility matrix with strong comprehension of Procurement Process.

  • Review role updates and executes Procurement functional/Security testing to validate the accuracy of the role changes. 

  • Project/Small work item support for Security related topics and deliver User Access Administration Support. 

  • Provide first line support for MM/Security requests/Tickets, like: Forward/Deletion of Procurement document workflow, Missing authorization trace.

  • In charge of Procurement System Control reviews 

About you

Skills and Qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum 6 CGPA. 
  • Strong knowledge in SAP S&C/GRC technologies
  • Clear understanding on creation of Roles in SAP system.
  • Understanding of SOD conflicts due to roles assigned for users in SAP
  • Knowledge on Tables used in security & controls
  • Knowledge on Critical transaction codes used in SAP S&C
  • Understanding on authorization objects used in modules like MM, FI
  • Understanding on different types of users in SAP
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP MM.
  • Experience in SAP Security & Controls and MM modules
  • Clear Understanding of Procurement Life Cycle and associated System Controls
  • Issue Diagnosis and timely resolution
  • Experience in Procurement Techno-functional domain with minimum experience of 5 years
  • Interested in long-term career and Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications/Experience.

  • SAP MM and S&C
  • Controls and audit independence Mindset with Logical thinking
  • Applies Learning, communicates effectively, decision making capability
  • Clear understanding of Procurement System
  • Controls and Change Management Application.
