What you’ll do:

Are you ready to lead impactful infrastructure projects that support community development across the Santos Foundation’s global footprint?

Based in Port Moresby we’re seeking a Program Manager – Infrastructure to oversee the planning, delivery, and quality assurance of our infrastructure portfolio. This is a pivotal leadership role that ensures our infrastructure initiatives—from health clinics to youth centres—are delivered to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.  

•Lead the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects across all Foundation programs.

•Provide technical leadership in civil construction and infrastructure development.

•Collaborate with Program Managers (Health, Youth Opportunities, FSV, Community Development) to integrate infrastructure into broader program strategies.

•Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

•Monitor project performance, risks, and budgets, reporting to senior leadership and the Santos Foundation Board.

•Build and mentor a high-performing infrastructure team.

•Ensure alignment with Santos Foundation priorities, GoPNG policies, and the Santos Management System.

What you’ll bring:

You’re a seasoned infrastructure professional with significant experience in civil construction or engineering project management.

•Proven success managing large-scale infrastructure projects in complex environments.

•Strong leadership and team development capabilities.

•Expertise in contractor management, budgeting, and risk mitigation.

•Excellent communication skills and experience reporting to senior stakeholders.

•Experience with donor-funded projects and community engagement.

•Familiarity with climate-resilient and sustainable infrastructure practices.

•Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Chartered Engineer).

•Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

•Postgraduate qualifications and certifications in project management or sustainability are highly regarded.
