As a Project Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of our dynamic Technical Office team. From concept to completion, you’ll oversee the full engineering process for new builds and conversions. You work closely with the Project Manager and ensure everything runs according to plan—on time, within budget, and to spec. Your role is all about bridging technical design with hands-on execution.

Translate client demands into clear, actionable engineering plans.
Manage internal engineering resources and coordinate with external suppliers.
Collaborate with our production team to identify smart, buildable solutions.
Maintain close contact with clients, ensuring alignment and quick issue resolution.
Handle communication with certifying bodies to secure required engineering approvals.
Lead engineering meetings with stakeholders from various disciplines.
Requirements
A Bachelor-level background (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or similar.
Proficiency in both Dutch and English (spoken and written)—you’ll use both daily.
Experience with AutoCAD, Cadmatic, and Microsoft Office tools (especially MS Project).
Preferably, some experience in the maritime industry and basic knowledge of ship certifications.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
