We have a current opportunity for a Project Engineer – Piping for a long-term, multi-year contract. The position will be based in Houston. For further information about this position please apply.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
* Discipline Lead the coordination and review of our contractors & subcontractors piping engineering tasks, identifying design issues, and monitoring progress of all process deliverables and activities.
* Review engineering contractor’s deliverable with a keen eye towards value engineering,
* Review design of piping systems for capital projects
* Provide technical leadership in overseeing contractors piping, piping materials, specifications, and details.
* Understand and apply standards and codes from industry-specific professional organizations such as ASME piping (B31.3) and pressure vessel (Section VIII).
* Review piping stress analysis and equipment interface load calculations.
* Coordinate design review activities to ensure installation and operations will comply with specifications, codes, and client requirements
* Lead and participate in discipline specific design reviews and coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum 10-15 years of refinery/substation/industrial process/power generation facility design engineering experience with a track record of achievement on large complex projects
* Strong technical background in piping, materials, and piping designs for large industrial facilities.
* Large Modular project design and construction experience.
* Experience with stress (CEASER II) and FEA analysis software
* Experience with equipment layout and 3D modeling
* Experience as a lead design engineer on multiple industrial facilities.
