Job Description

Our client, a Tier One Mining Operator, are looking for a Project Manager to join them on a 6-month contract basis.
 
Description:
• Provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle in the execution of technology solutions
• Ensures appropriate transition to support, post project
• Plan and manage budget, resources, schedule and project milestones
• Develop, maintain and enhance Technology group and business relationships
• Contribute to the effective operations of the Technology and Autonomy Portfolio Management Office

Deliver Technology Operations & Services projects (within the Resilience and Recovery Program)
• Provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle in the execution of technology solutions
• Ensures appropriate transition to support, post project
• Plan and manage budget, resources, schedule and project milestones
• Develop, maintain and enhance Technology group and business relationships
• Contribute to the effective operations of the Technology and Autonomy Portfolio Management Office

Experience & Knowledge
• 3-5 years’ experience managing IT projects
• Experience managing simultaneous complex technology projects.
• Experience in mining / energy organisations and site travel (desirable)
• Broad understanding of Technology Infrastructure and Applications to support mine operations processes.
• Strong project management, business analysis process and technical change management understanding.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure Resilience, Backups and Disaster Recovery (desirable)

Skills & Education
• Excellent communication skills with strong client focus.
• Strong time management & organizational skills – ability to prioritise and multi-task.
• Ability to understand complex and detailed business processes.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related experience.
• PMP or Prince2 Practitioner Certification
