The person:

You must have experience working in a fast paced, dynamic working environmental, whilst ensuring safety and quality remain the guiding principles. You must have a technical background in an engineering discipline and experience in the delivery of a range of technical projects, preferably through all phases of the design lifecycle.  You must be comfortable working within varied teams and proactively engaging with a wide range of stakeholders in order to deliver optimal solutions. You must be self-motivated and driven to continuously improve upon previous performance.

 

The role:

The role will primarily involve managing the delivery of a portfolio of improvement projects across the Capenhurst site, each up to a value of £250k. It will include development of that portfolio to optimise delivery capability within the constraints of resource and funding, as well as planning the investment demands for future years.

The role holder will interface closely with technical teams both internal and external to UUK to develop appropriate scopes, schedules and delivery strategies to maximise the benefits that can be realised and communicate these plans with relevant stakeholders.

Package:

  • Remuneration:; The salary range for this role is £61,772 rising to £70,357. Annual pay reviews are conducted

Location:

The role will be based at our Capenhurst Site near Chester. We offer free parking and there is a train station a few metres away from site with frequent trains to Chester or the Wirral.
