  • Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to Petrofac’s ‘Nine Life Saving Rules’.
  • ‘Live’ our Petrofac Values and apply them in day-to-day work.
  • Responsible for overall delivery of individual tenders – on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality.
  • Review all EOIs / ITTs and prepare applicable paperwork.
  • Support Business Capture/Business Development activities.
  • Responsible for supporting and enforcing proposals process.
  • Work in and maintain BD/proposals digital management system.
  • Participate in Strategy and Bid / No Bid discussions.
  • Development of and responsibility for bid schedule.
  • Allocate responsibilities in conjunction with Bid Team Leader.
  • Organize tender meetings and review meetings, ensuring presentations and applicable paperwork have been completed.
  • Ensure all internal and third-party tender input is received by the required dates.
  • Advise and recommend solutions for tender issues.
  • Liaise with all other Asset Solutions discipline personnel to ensure accurate input to tenders.
  • Review, edit and write material for the tender document and take responsibility for production to schedule.
  • Check and validate tender answers and edit where agreed.
  • Act as customer focal point for tender correspondence e.g clarifications, meeting requests.
  • Ensure all proposals databases, files and reports are updated on a regular basis.
  • Manage the production of the final tender through engagement with internal and external Marketing stakeholders. 
  • Ensure timely delivery of final tender submission.



  • Ideally have previous experience working within a proposals environment and ideally degree qualified in relevant subjects (English, Law, Business etc.) 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, organizational skills and writing / scripting skills are also a requirement for this position. The ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt and work in fast paced working environment.
  • Innovative mind set.
  • The candidate must have general knowledge of the oil and gas business and commercial / technical knowledge of oil and gas contracts is preferred.
