Status Residential – on-site presence mandatory (no remote work)

Missions / Responsibilities

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the following (non-exhaustive list):

  • Coordinate all quantity-related activities, including verification of contractor-submitted dossiers.
  • Estimate, verify, and anticipate quantities to ensure accurate material needs and cost control.
  • Interface with internal stakeholders to understand contract requirements, execution methods, and cost structures.
  • Participate in the management of risks, value engineering efforts, and cost control measures.
  • Assess and value subcontractor works for interim and final payments.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
  • Monitor overall value delivery and cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical input and advice on change requests, remeasurable items, claims, counterclaims, and disputes.
  • Contribute to project reporting and post-project Lessons Learnt consolidation.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Minimum Experience: 7 years in the oil & gas sector, working on EPC contracts with remeasurable structures.
  • Education: Engineering or Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent background.
  • Languages:
    • English: Fluent (mandatory)
    • French: Advanced (strongly recommended)
    • Italian: Intermediate (a plus)

Key Competencies

  • Strong mathematical, numerical, and data analysis capabilities.
  • Expertise in claims management and contract administration.
  • Experience in EPC project environments and package contract engineering.
  • Ability to manage a high workload in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder context.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in quantity surveying and project management software/tools.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to assess project value.
  • Skilled in influencing, coordination, and transversal project environments.
