Longford, Ireland.

SLB Ireland is the engineering centre of excellence for flow control products, we have an energetic R&D Team focused on developing Energy Harvesting and other technology for the Energy Industry.

 

Job Summary:

SLB, in Longford Town, currently has an exciting opportunity for an Intern Software/Electronic R&D Engineer to work with a team of engineers to assist develop Energy Harvesting and other technology for the Energy Industry.

 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Designing R&D projects from inception to completion
  • Developing leading edge technology for Energy Harvesting, and the Energy Industry
  • Analyse, design, develop, maintain products, and assist in their commercialization
  • Build prototypes, products, and systems suitable for testing. Set up and run lab simulations
  • Design and implement tests, document results, and develop customer presentations
  • Provide timely corrective actions on defects
  • Produce analyses and mathematical models and draw design conclusions based on those
  • Conduct or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications and designs, code, and other artifacts

Qualification:

Studying towards a Bachelors or Masters in Software/Electronic Engineering related field
