What will you do

  • Provide oversight and guidance using best-in-class reservoir management principles, practices and state-of-the-art technologies for an oil field asset.
  • Carry out reservoir surveillance plan (welltest, fluid contact logging, rock/fluid analysis, pressure build-up) and monitor key reservoir surveillance and production data (WCUT, GOR, VRR, pressure, contact movement)
  • Evaluate reservoir and well performance to identify anomalies and develop technical recommendations to economically maximizing asset value
  • Prepare reservoir engineering inputs into wellwork troubleshooting and remediation programs (gas shut-off, water shut-off, add/re-perforation, downhole scale squeeze, gas lift).
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including Geoscience, Wells, Surface, and Operations groups to ensure implementation of prudent reservoir management during operation, facility debottlenecking and wellwork execution.
  • Integrate subsurface and production data to present meaningful insights and technical recommendation for opportunity generation and depletion planning. Connect with ExxonMobil global expertise to leverage best practices and learnings.

About you

Skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or other Engineering disciplines with minimum GPA of 3.5 and less than 5 years of industry experience.
  • Meaningful experience in any of following reservoir engineering skills: reservoir surveillance and production optimisation, analytical performance prediction, depletion planning, reserves assessment and volumes forecasting.
  • Familiar with production surveillance and reservoir engineering tools (OFM, IPM GAP/Prosper/MBAL, Kappa Emeraude/Ecrin).
  • Familiar in using reservoir simulation softwares (Eclipse/Petrel RE) with experience in performing model building, history match & forecasting using well/field management.
  • Candidate should be self-motivated, creative and determined in achieving business results.
  • Able to adapt, learn new skills, and work effectively in group settings.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication.
     

Preferred qualifications

  • Previously working for international oil & gas companies with experience in Development and Producing fields, wellwork/workover program design and execution, and production engineering/optimisation.
  • Appropriate hands-on experience in using key reservoir engineering tools (OFM, IPM GAP/Prosper/MBAL, Kappa Emeraude/Ecrin).
