Safety Manager – Solar/BESS – Owners Rep, La Pryor

We are seeking an experienced Site Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE) Supervisor to support the construction and commissioning of a utility-scale solar energy project near La Pryor, Texas.

This individual will serve as the Owner’s on-site representative, providing independent oversight of the EPC contractor’s safety and environmental programs while ensuring adherence to project HSSE requirements, industry best practices, and regulatory standards.

This is a full-time, site-based assignment with a projected duration of 15-18 months.

What the Hiring Team Is Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Owner’s Representative role, utility-scale renewable energy construction experience, and a proven ability to lead safety initiatives in the field. Candidates with a background in EPC organizations will be considered if they can clearly demonstrate their ability to represent the owner’s interests while maintaining an independent oversight perspective.

Electrical safety expertise is considered essential for this role.
