SAP Supervisor
Location: Kingston-Upon-Thames
Negotiable Salary
Permanent Staff, Hybrid

Are you a proven leader with expert knowledge of SAP? A leading global Oil & Gas EPC company are seeing a SAP supervisor to join their team in Kingston-Upon-Thames on a permanent staff basis. The role is working 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week working from home.

As a SAP Supervisor, you will lead and manage the SAP Support Team and be predominantly focused on Procurement including ensuring purchase requisitions, work orders, and deviation orders are correct and in-line with company policies.


Key Responsibilities: SAP Supervisor

  • Plan and manage staffing requirements for the SAP Support Team, ensuring adequate coverage based on workload fluctuations.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the SAP Support Team, including timekeeping, holiday approvals, and workload management.
  • Ensure that Purchase Requisitions, Work Orders, and Deviation Orders are created accurately and in a timely manner, meeting project and operational requirements.
  • Follow up with vendors on Work Orders and Deviation Orders to ensure prompt acknowledgment and confirmation within SAP.
  • Ensure timely clearing of invoices within 30 days or resolution within 60 days if further action is required.
  • Keep the SAP Support Team informed about local and corporate procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain an up-to-date log of all Purchase Requisitions, Work Orders, and Deviation Orders to minimise duplication and assist in tracking approvals.
  • Train new team members and other staff on SAP system usage, problem-solving, and company policies.
  • Liaise with Project Managers and requisitioners to ensure accurate and detailed information is provided for SAP-related tasks.
  • Provide SAP support to the Intercompany team as needed.


Key Requirements: SAP Supervisor

  • To be a SAP Supervisor, a strong understanding of the procurement process and SAP’s role within it is required.
  • A proven ability to supervise staff and meet team targets is required to be a SAP Supervisor.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly desirable to be a successful SAP Supervisor.
  • Expert in SAP is essential.
