Responsible for the timely and accurate review and validation of US Drilling/Services billing transactions based on contracts language/terms, well sheets, database rates, and other supporting documentation/approvals. 



  • Routine sample review/audit of completed well data files for contract compliance based on Well Data Sheets, Daywork Sheets, executed contracts, and other supporting documentation
  • Complete review of well data files with details entered to Jobs/Contracts DB (rate subtypes, GL strings, bundles, and crew details)
  • Validate accuracy of billing data captured against numerous trackers used by NDS Product Lines
  • Assist Billing management/HR with identifying/addressing causes for Additional Labor billing discrepancies
  • Track and report Billing input errors to management for correction and staff training
  • Provide support to Billing Manager on all audits, pulling required documents/files and reviewing audit reports for validation of Operator credits owed net of any refunds due to Nabors
  • Participates in system testing/implementation of process improvements
  • Liaison between Billing and Internal Audit/Operator Audit Teams in addressing audit requests and report findings/issues
  • Special Billing Dispute Review Projects, as assigned





  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong understanding/working knowledge of commercial contract languages/terms, and billing of drilling operations/services
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of working with little to no supervision. 
  • 5+ years of billing experience using a major ERP system such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP
  • 5+ years of experience in third party eInvoicing systems a must; ADP, Oildex; Ariba, Cortex, HubWoo.
  • Intermediate experience utilizing common Microsoft Office Suite functionality, Intermediate (or higher) skills in MS Word and MS Excel required.



  • ERP AR/Billing experience – Oracle 12i preferred.
  • B2B document exchange software solutions
  • Working experience in the land, offshore, and drilling services industry is preferred



  • Must be extremely organized and effective at prioritizing multiple tasks

  • Able to work well independently with little to no direct supervision and provide guidance to other staff
