As such Wintershall Dea aims to establish significant CO2 storage capacity in Norway as part of CM&H’s global strategy to build full CCS and H2 value chains. Thus, the corporate CM&H Unit seeks to create a multidisciplinary team in Norway to drive locally this ambitious strategy. 
The Senior Commercial Specialist will be an integral member of this multidisciplinary team and will report to the Vice President Commercial and as part of the Upstream team in the Commercial department.
  • Main responsibility will be to secure and develop the Company`s strategic, commercial and economic interests in accordance with the CM&H global strategy
  • Develop Joint Ventures and other relationships to set up new business models and commercial framework
  • Develop frame agreements for the CCS and H2 value chains and lead negotiations on WDNO operated assets
  • Monitor and follow up of developments in the area of CCS and H2
  • Cooperate closely with all supporting functions like Legal, Assets and Finance

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience from the oil and gas industry with extensive knowledge of the NCS.  Experience and interest in CM&H is an advantage
  • High self-motivation with the ability to work independently  
  • Pro-active mind set and ability to communicate in a multidisciplinary team
  • Innovative and curious
  • Commercial acumen and proven commercial track record
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and cooperate at a high level with internal and external decision makers
