Senior Contract Analyst – Bunker & Agency
Qatar (Relocation Support Available)
We are working with a leading international energy organisation who are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Analyst to join their Bunker & Agency function.
The purpose of this role is to conduct all shipping related accounting activities and provide financial and commercial support to the Ship Contracts & Bunker Division to develop, execute and analyse all LNG shipping related contracts, and ensure compliance with internal financial controls and existing contractual terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete administrative and financial task for all shipping related activities – payment of charter hire, insurance, marine fuel purchase etc.
- Ensure invoices and supporting documentation and recorded accurately and processed efficiently.
- Complete all agency-related financial activities – preparation of advances and obtaining approvals for port expenses.
- Prepare funding forecasts.
- Coordinate with account receivables on reimbursable costs for the services rendered and cost sharing agreement.
- Assist in the procurement of marine fuel for the chartered fleet and ensure delivery in line with the applicable procedure. When required or assigned, serve as the primary point of contact for all marine fuel deliveries on a 24/7 basis.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Shipping, Economics or similar
- 8 years of industry experience with strong understanding of financial activities and contract administration
- Strong analytical and commercial awareness
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage strict deadlines
- Strong Excel / spreadsheet modelling capability
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal English
- SAP exposure beneficial
