The position

By joining our team in Projects, Drilling & Procurement you will have the opportunity to:

  • Take the position as discipline engineer & discipline lead within electrical power engineering in one or more Equinor projects.
  • Project development work within the electrical engineering discipline, in one or more phases from concept development, through engineering, construction, commissioning and hand-over to operations in large renewable projects. 
  • Establish power distribution and transmission system, prepare technical requirements and follow up contractors and vendors during fabrication, testing and installation.
  • Develop competency and experience within offshore wind project development & execution and or other new energy projects (hydrogen, CCS, solar, etc).
  • Contribute to internal and external improvement activities and development of the electrical competence within Equinor.

  • A Bachelors required Master preferred in a relevant science discipline within electrical power engineering or equivalent. 
  • A minimum 7 years’ relevant experience from project execution, preferably including early phase and concept development.
  • Experience from offshore wind project and/or other renewables is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards and technical requirements within electrical discipline.
  • High ethical standards and adherence to ethical requirements.
  • High focus on safety and security.
  • Result-oriented, self-driven and quality conscious.
  • Ability to handle a high work load.
