The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in oil and gas or a compatible industry, with a strong technical background and excellent leadership and communication skills. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects, ensuring their successful completion on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement engineering projects in the oil and gas industry, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications.Manage and coordinate project activities, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and support staff, ensuring that projects are executed to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures.Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and other relevant documentation, tracking progress and reporting to management as required. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimize project risks and ensure project success. Manage project change control processes, ensuring that any changes are assessed and approved before implementation. Provide technical support and advice to operations and maintenance teams, ensuring that equipment and systems are operated and maintained safely and efficiently.Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.Participate in technical meetings, forums, and industry events, keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the oil and gas industry.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.At least 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry or a compatible industry, with a proven track record of delivering engineering projects to a high standard.Strong technical skills and knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and specifications.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve project objectives.Experience managing complex projects, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.Experience managing budgets, schedules, and other project documentation.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address issues in a timely and effective manner.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.Professional Engineering (PE) certification is preferred.
