Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the development and implementation of loss prevention systems and safety engineering practices.
- Ensure all designs and operations meet ADNOC standards and comply with local and international offshore safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, HAZOP studies, and support incident investigations as required.
- Collaborate closely with design, process, and construction teams to ensure alignment with safety objectives.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables related to fire and gas detection, fire protection, and safety layout.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure proper integration of loss prevention measures.
- Provide expert input into safety philosophies, design basis, and project specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Process, Safety, or related discipline).
- Minimum 12 years of experience in loss prevention and safety engineering within design and EPC projects.
- Proven track record working on ADNOC projects.
- Solid understanding of offshore safety standards, codes, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in both mainland (onshore) and offshore environments.
- Offshore certificates (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) would be highly appreciated.
