JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB PURPOSE:

 

Support internal analytics of company listed instruments, including stocks and bonds. Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure the highest possible equity and debt focused IR standards across the Group. Assist in maximizing shareholder value, including through participation in equity and debt capital markets projects of Group Strategic Investments team. 

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

  • Maintain an informed approach on key trends, financial results, and stakeholder expectations. Carry out peer and market reviews and provide timely alerts and reports internally.
  • Support company Group through provision of regular and ad-hoc internal reports and analysis related to the company listed instruments.
  • Collect materials, conduct analysis and build working communication streams internally, as well as with equity and fixed income representatives of the brokerage and investor community to maintain high level of awareness around the price movements and key drivers of company listed instruments.
  • Support in drafting and updating of any equity or fixed income related investor materials to be used by the IR team of company Group for internal as well as external meetings on a timely, accurate and complete basis within the bounds of applicable laws, regulations and internal policy.
  • Monitor and record feedback from existing / prospective investors. Participate in investor marketing and targeting activity of the Group and its associates.
  • Guide and support investor and analyst engagement across the Group.
  • Evaluate company Group equity stories and source ways to maximize value creation across the Group.
  • Source ways to maximize liquidity across company listed company portfolio.
  • Proactively participate in the development of the internal “Center of IR Excellence” to advance internal IR Best Practice standards.
  • Proactively participate and help drive internal employee awareness exercises focused on capital markets, IR and company stocks.
  • Help refine existing and build new IR Strategies.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring performance metrics for the IR function across company Group.
  • Play an active role in company Group’s debt and equity capital markets activities and projects.
  • Carry out regular debt related reporting.
  • Assist in attracting top IR talent across the organization and proactively participate and drive internal IR Learning & Development programs.
  • Liaise with Legal and Compliance on laws, regulations, and best IR practices and ensure these are applied across the Group.
  • Help drive internal IR digitalization and AI activities.
  • Liaise with Corporate Communication on investors and analyst engagement events and publication of materials in different media platforms of company Group and assist in preparation of appropriate messaging and evaluation of external perception.
  • Monitor comps and be informed on valuation of company Group’s listed subsidiaries relative to history and the key peers.
  • Assist in rolling-out trainings to relevant internal personnel and IR teams to secure compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as implementation of the highest IR standards and practices across the Group.
  • Support individual IR teams on ad-hoc basis, including through the potential IPO processes.
  • Support company Group’s Sustainability objectives by actively monitoring related information and being in position to articulate these to all stakeholders. Assist the internal Sustainability team in tasks requiring investor engagement.

 

 

Supervision

 

  • Participate in planning and coordination of all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
  • Assist in training and development of the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective IR objectives.

  • Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section’s work programs in line with Company and International standards.
  • Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.

  • Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework.

 

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

 

  • Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and company Code of Practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Economics / Accounting / Finance)
  • 10+ of relevant experience, including in IR, finance, portfolio management or consultancy in a private equity firm, fund, investment bank, consultancy, rating agency or a large corporation
  • Experience in the industries of company presence will be a major advantage
  • Experience in debt capital markets will be an advantage
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

 

Professional certifications:

 

  • CFA / MBA / CA / Certified Investor Relations Officer (CIRO) or other relevant IR certification would be a major advantage
