We are looking for the right people — people who want to innovate, achieve, grow and lead. We attract and retain the best talent by investing in our employees and empowering them to develop themselves and their careers. Experience the challenges, rewards and opportunity of working for one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry.
Job Duties
- Lead and evolve the organization’s network, perimeter, and email security architecture, protecting enterprise networks and internet facing communications.
- Own perimeter and email security controls, including firewalls, secure gateways, WAF, DDoS, phishing/BEC protection, and spoofing defenses.
- Integrate network, perimeter, and email security with core security platforms (IDS/IPS, SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence).
- Lead the development and execution of the Zero Trust security framework as it applies to enterprise networks, perimeter boundaries, remote access, and trusted communications, enforcing least privilege and segmentation principles.
- Drive adoption of Zero Trust using industry leading SSE / SASE capabilities focused on user access, edge security, external exposure, and secure communications.
- Provide security leadership for internet facing platforms and communications, mitigating external threats such as malware, ransomware, phishing, bot activity, and application layer attacks.
- Secure OT environments through IT/OT segmentation and layered perimeter defenses in partnership with OT Security and infrastructure teams.
- Lead network, perimeter, and email related incident response and continuously reduce attack surface risk.
- Provide operational leadership for network, perimeter, and email security services, managing a team of 20+ engineers and contractors, ensuring 24×7 coverage, service stability, and effective execution in a dynamic, high priority, rapidly shifting environment.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and cloud perimeter concepts (e.g., VPC/VNET design, cloud native firewalls, security groups) to effectively partner with the Cloud Security team.
- Define strategy, policies, and standards; manage vendors and budgets; and communicate risk and posture to senior leadership.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent preferred.
Qualifications
- Understanding of Azure, AWS, and OCI networking constructs sufficient to support integration, troubleshooting, and architectural alignment — without direct ownership of cloud security controls.
- Awareness of cloud native perimeter and edge services to ensure cohesive enterprise wide Zero Trust and perimeter strategies.
- Familiarity with regulatory and privacy frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, and similar requirements impacting network, perimeter, and email security.
