JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

Develop and implement HSE knowledge management and communications content and processes (internal and external)
towards promoting and reinforcing HSE learning and knowledge sharing across the organization. Develop and maintain a
corporate system for HSE lessons learned internally and externally for communication to sites and all concerned parties.
Prepare and implement annual plan for branded HSE campaigns/programs to promote a positive HSE culture.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

 Develop and support implementation of HSE Programs and Initiatives towards effective execution of 100% HSE Strategy Objectives and enhancement of HSE Culture.

 Design and launch of annual HSE awareness campaigns and programs to support HSE policy, strategic objectives, HSE performance improvement, awareness of key areas of HSE risk.

 Develop and implement HSE knowledge management and communications processes and solutions towards promoting and reinforcing HSE learning and knowledge sharing across the organization.

 Develop and maintain a corporate system for HSE lessons learned, internally and externally (OPCOs, E&P industry, professional bodies/organizations), and communicate regularly to HQ and sites.

 Evaluate the functionality of knowledge management tools and their interface with other HSE applications (such as: HSE Portal, HSE-IMS, etc.) and guide the development of customized solutions to support effective HSE communications across company.

 Act as focal point for liaising with Corporate Communications and Media Team to implement annual HSE activities and events calendar.

 Prepare technical content of HSE related communications publications including HSE Bulletins, HSE Flashes, Incident Learnings, HSE induction, etc.
 Support technical teams in the development and completion of HSE Reports and Presentations to Management and for awareness/training purposes.

Supervision
•    Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
•    Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective business objectives.
Budgets
•    Provide input for preparation of the Function / Division / Department / Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver business objectives. 
•    Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
•    Implement approved Function/ Division/ Department/ Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.
Performance Management
•    Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Function/ Division / Department/ Section in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
•    Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
•    Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
•    Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and company Code of Practices.
Reports
•    Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

Internal Communications & Working Relationships

 Contact with HSE Teams and other Division as need it.
 company Group.

External Communications & Working Relationships

 Technology Providers.
 Third party HSE Study Consultants/ Vendors.

Minimum Qualification

 Bachelor Degree in engineering, or equivalent discipline.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

 8 – 9 years of experience, including at least experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry with relevant
HSE experience.

Work Condition, Physical effort & Work Environment

Physical Effort
Minimal. Work involves computer operation, walking, standing in office various locations / premises, site visits and outside office visits.
Work Environment
Normally Air conditioned office. Exposed to prevailing weather conditions during visits to office premises, sites visits and external visits.
