Description of Project/Role and Main Responsibilities

Production of project safety deliverables (HSE Plans, HSE Philosophy, ToR’s for Safety workshops).

Organising and attending safety workshops (HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, SIL), Safety action management and sign off.

Input into safety case update.

Liaising with clients and at times external stakeholders.

Support projects with Safety risk assessments.

Main functions

Act as part of the Safety and Environment team across projects, potentially acting as the Project Discipline Leader on individual project.

Advising projects on HSE regulatory compliance.

Candidate’s qualifications, professional experience and skills required for the position

Appropriate degree, chartership through IChemE or similar

Experience working on oil and gas design projects. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to produce high quality deliverable on schedule. Experience in decommissioning projects Experienced in CCS projects Experience in attending safety workshops ( HAZID /HAZOP / SIL / ALARP)

Experience in site surveys, Stakeholder engagement Microsoft office proficient Project Experience Software used: GIS, Microsoft office

BSc Chemical Engineering, Process Safety (desirable)
