Collaborate with the best

As a Shop/Plan Operator Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• During machining operations (milling and inspection), the operator will complete item inspection plans, identify materials, and perform preliminary inspections of parts in accordance with applicable specifications
• During machining and inspection operations, the operator will be responsible for the workstation and for compliance with production line management rules
• The operator will be asked to suggest improvements to their activities, in accordance with the company’s continuous improvement program
• They will participate in weekly discussions on safety and quality issues within their team (Safety & Quality Talk).

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a high school diploma (preferably a Mechanical Engineer)
• Have referenced experience in mechanical milling
• Demonstrate knowledge of Baker Hughes products Knowledge of boring/milling using CNC machines
• Be available to work shifts (including weekends, if necessary)
• Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret drawings/technical specifications
• Be proficient in using precision measuring tools
• Be computer literate (Excel, Word, email, etc.)
• Demonstrate teamwork and flexibility
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
