Breakdown of main duties within our SPEAD-Programme for OT Cyber / Automation Security Engineers:
The OT Cyber Security / Automation Security Engineer will take a role with increasing responsibility in a multi-discipline project team to develop and implement support of global automation security solutions, services and procedures relating Risk Management, Incident Management, Access Control, Remote Access, Threat Intelligence feeds, Awareness and Training.
- Liaise with clients of our operating companies to identify the technical / security requirements, constraints, deliverables and ensure clear scope.
- Prepare conceptual, detailed engineering solutions including commercial aspects for production, transportation and/or storage facilities.
- Initiate hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies and safety review meetings.
- Assist in managing the development and maintenance of automation security Governance Documents together with regional Business Units.
- Prepare, promote and support implementation of new technologies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and communicate relevant news effectively to the worldwide Wintershall Dea business units.

- Master degree, equivalent or PhD preferably in OT/IT cyber security operations or equivalent with In-Depth knowledge in OT environment
- University study in a reasonable time frame and demonstrable academic achievement
- At least one (E&P) relevant internship
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills, proficiency in another foreign language would be an advantage (e.g. Spanish, German)
- International experience (internship / study abroad, school exchange)
- Strongly developed social and interpersonal skills
- High flexibility and willingness to work internationally
