The position

By joining our team in Projects, Drilling & Procurement you will have the opportunity to:

  • Shape, deliver and maximise the value of Equinor’s existing and future contract portfolio.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams for the establishment of procurement strategies.
  • Prepare and issue enquiries, manage and conduct bid evaluation, negotiations and prepare award recommendation.
  • Ensure compliance throughout the process with focus on integrity due diligence, human rights assessments, safety, and commercial risk.
  • Drive and perform contract management and stakeholder management, from award to contract close-out, to optimise value and ensure safety together with internal Contract Company Representative and creating value with suppliers and partners.

In Procurement and Supplier Relations, a sub-unit of Projects, Drilling & Procurement, you will be part of a global procurement organisation consisting of approx. 700 employees working with a broad range of services. Now we are looking for procurement professionals to three of our main categories: Drilling, Well and Intervention (DWI), Corporate Services (CS) and Operations (OP).

You will be part of a high performing team of procurement professionals in a multi-dynamic environment. You will get the opportunity to manage a specific contract portfolio where you in close collaboration with the business line will interact with suppliers – both for contract establishment and contract management.

  • 2-10 years experience within strategic procurement, supply chain, contracts management, negotiation, tendering or a similar commercial related field.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area.
  • An interest in continually upskilling in digital tools.
  • Performance-driven with a strong interest for commercial focused work.
  • Ability to address safety performance, engage and collaborate with our suppliers to avoid major accidents to reduce personal injuries and carbon footprint.
  • Proven ability to assess, prioritize and respond to urgent situations.
  • Self-motivated, team player, curious, and passionate about learning and development.
  • Professional level of English language skills is essential for this position, both oral and written.
