  • Be part of a multi-discipline team responsible for non-operated assets in Norway
  • Close collaboration with mentor(s) including assistance on project tasks and frequent feedback sessions
  • Contribute and support us with a variety of tasks which include:
  • Subsurface Reservoir Characterization
  • The summer student will work on the Bauge/Hyme fields and work on various tasks concerning the reservoir simulation
  • Focus will be on updating the simulation models with the most recent production data
  • Main deliverables will include history matched models and several forecast scenarios, such as “do nothing” and “drainage optimization”

  • Student currently on 1st or 2nd year of master studies within the disciplines of geoscience/ reservoir engineering
  • You have some experience working with reservoir simulation tools, such as Eclipse, OPM ,tNavigator and post-processing tools such as ResInsight, RE Studio or Petrel RE.
  • Experience in modelling and python beneficial but not required
  • Excellent written, verbal and online communication skills 
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Fluency in English, oral and written
  • Proactive, structured, self-motivated and solution oriented
