  • Get involved in the development of an ESG (Environmental Social Governance) Strategy for the Business Unit, in line with the corporate strategy.
  • Implement the local CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) strategy.
  • Deliver the local sustainability report.
  • Perform the sustainability assessments for every stage for DG’s (Decision Gate) of current projects, Operated and non-operated assets.
  • Support the BU on CSR and sustainability topics.
  • Follow up on the corporate environmental strategy and requirements.
  • Research and identify environmental best practices to be implemented in the BU.
  • Create and develop an organization’s short- and long-term sustainability strategies.
  • Research regulatory compliance requirements that impact company operations.
  • Drafting and implement social responsibility initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability programs, and when needed, recommending changes to close strategic gaps.
  • Partnering with contractors that are committed to furthering green initiatives.
  • Organize company-wide environmental volunteer activities.
  • Research ways to incorporate recycled materials into a company’s production line.
  • Develop communication materials for staff, internal and external stakeholders regarding a company’s sustainability goals.
  • Tracking sustainability strategies’ financial efficiency.

  • Bachelor’s in Petroleum Engineer, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental
  • Master degree desired on Environmental or Sustainability
  • Minimum 5 years in the field of Oil & Gas ideally in Project Development/Management or, Strategic Planning and/or Sustainability/ESG roles.
  • Strong understanding of the E&P industry.
  • Basic understanding of CSR and sustainability topics and its potential impact in new business opportunities.
  • Strategic thinking and sound business judgement in conditions of significant uncertainty
  • Analytical skills to evaluate the performance of various initiatives and conduct research on changes to environmental regulatory procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership
  • Problem-solving, understand how to identify and remedy problems by finding creative solutions.
  • Teamwork attitude.
  • Enthusiastic, open and driven individual with strong HSEQ and leadership skills.
