Job Description

This role will report directly to the Credit/Finance Ops Lead in Philippines.

Working closely with finance operations team in Philippines and the regional finance teams, this role will assist with full spectrum of cash application operations  and reporting for the regional offices, coordinating with other countries in Asia:

• Prepare and record receipts and payments in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP
• Submit weekly Bank reconciliation schedules to regional finance teams from other countries
• Submit weekly Cashflow reporting to Treasury and regional finance teams from other countries
• Initiate Drawdown request based on Cashflow report
• Submit Payment advice once
• Submit monthly Bank Statements and Bank reconciliation on a timely basis to regional finance teams from other countries
• Lead a team (anticipated)
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments management may request from time to time

Education and Experience Required:

• Degree in accounting/finance
• Professional qualification (e.g. CPA) is preferred
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in multi-national companies
• Hands-on experiences of accounting systems and cash application process is a strong plus
• Good knowledge of cash control requirements
• Knowledge of local GAAP and bank requirements in other countries in Asia is an added advantage
• Experience with renewable energy business is preferred
• Prior experience with Asia coverage across different countries

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to work independently as well as with the Team and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-pace environment
• Good analytical and communication skills are required as well as advanced skills in stakeholder relations
• Good verbal and written proficiency in English
• Proactive, driven, vigilant and resilient
• Able to adhere to strict reporting timelines with good quality of deliverables
