Project Engineer
The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate and deliver all required aspects of customer interaction for HGI including administration and delivery of current maintenance contracts and named key accounts and general customer support for all key and standard accounts.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Proactively managing existing and future maintenance contracts
- Resolving customer issues and queries.
- Offering face-to-face, telephone and email customer support and advice including out of hours support as required on a rota basis – see appendix A
- Managing the demand for required stock and service parts, and co-ordinate movement of parts to engineers, sub-contractors or customers to deliver accurate stock levels at all locations.
- Providing support for engineers, sub-contractors & suppliers as required including the management of subcontractor and engineer workload and diary
- Ensuring HGI’s contractual obligations are met
- Maintaining and updating project schedules; resolve issues and control resources and deliverables, including third party involvement.
- Proactive planning and management of jobs, projects and aftersales contracts within the Baker Hughes ERP systems to ensure full visibility of all aspects of the works.
- Ensuring clear communication with other Baker Hughes departments to ensure processes are followed and deadlines met.
- Delivery of detailed reports, trends, concerns and customer feedback as required by the business or to meet customer requirements.
- Preparation of documentation for customers as required including, but not limited to, job sheets, site information packs, site handover packs, O&M manual documentation, risk assessments and method statements.
- Providing diagnostic reports and quotations for repairs to customers.
- Supporting the Senior Project Manager as required.
- Ensuring network of sub-contractors is managed and maintained, actively source new contractors where required, monitor performance, including all H&S requirements as determined by the business and its customers and report as required.
- Managing stock levels and stock take. Work with Baker Hughes purchasing to set minimum stock levels to ensure customer’s needs are fulfilled
- Maintaining systems whereby others can track your work so that in the event of your absence, customers continue to receive good service
- Managing the adherence to the Baker Hughes Invoicing Process, including but not limited to the creation of sales orders and invoices, resolving disputed invoices and resolving Aged Debt

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Qualification in business management (or similar field)
- At least 3 years experience in Project Management or Business Administration
- Prince2 or Agile certified (Preferred)
- Experience of working in a Customer Support / Parts environment
- Experience and understanding of ERP systems
- Knowledge of telecoms generator operation, including telemetry systems
- Good knowledge of generators, ancillary equipment and site installation/maintenance requirements
- Other industries with transferable skills will be considered
- Strong organizational skills
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating workload
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to complete work accurately and on time with excellent attention to detail
- Good data manipulation and analytics skills
- Have Permanent work permit in U.K
