Upstream Marketing Junior Advisor- London

WRS are representing a major Operator in their search for a Upstream Marketing Junior Advisor.

The Upstream Marketing (UPM) unit is in charge of coordinating the commercialisation of all the equity liquids (oil and NGLs) produced by the client all over the world. UPM also provides support to the Upstream Affiliates of the client on commercialisation matters such as negotiations of Sales and Purchase Agreements, Lifting Agreements and Commercialisation of new crudes.

Job duties include:

  • Prepare overviews and analyses necessary for the determination and reporting of fiscal prices.
  • Support strategies implementation in the equity commercialisation for crude oils and NGLs
  • Provide Support to negotiation activities and implementation/monitoring of the commercial agreements and relevant lifting procedures with joint ventures partners and/or with third parties
  • Gather all information necessary for the correct invoicing of cargoes to affiliates

The Ideal candidate will have:

  • University Degree in STEM subject or similar, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least two years’ experience working with in commercial marketing, or similar position.
  • Knowledge of the commodity and energy markets is a requirement; experience with the oil, refined products or biofuels markets and international trading is desirable.
  • Thorough knowledge of information technology and computer applications, systems and processes.
  • Analytical mind, strategic thinking and practical problem solving
