Wind Technician in Commissioning

Job Description

Our client is looking for wind commissioning engineers to work for various wind farm projects in Vietnam

You main responsibility: 

Performs, supervises, trains and ensures safety during commissioning work and basic troubleshooting on all installation and commissioning aspects.
Tasks including but not limited to:
 Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical or system malfunctions.
 Secure the WTG and its systems prior to initiating any work.
 Mentor and share knowledge within area of responsibility.
 Support on-job-training as requested and maintains logbooks, where required
 Keep records, maintain documentation and report as required by company policy.
 Maintain and follow safety procedures as required by company policy.

  • Engineering degree Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent English and Vietnamese Communication Skills ( Chinese is a plus)
  • Understanding of basic AC/DC electrical circuits
  • 5 years working experience with Electric engineering or 1 year work experience on turbine;
  • Existing Wind turbine commissioning expertise is an advantage.
  • GWO BST & BTT certified candidates preferred.

Please note that due to travel and visa restrictions only candidates based already in Vietnam will be considered for this position.
