Workday Configuration Analyst – Core Compensation and Advanced Comp.
Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Comp. Configurator to join our team. As a Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Comp. Configurator, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining Workday Core Compensation, and Advanced Compensation configuration. Your expertise in Compensation design, data analysis, and configuration will play a crucial role in our compensation programs align with business objectives and support our talent management strategy.
This will be a primarily a Remote position supporting a global organization. This role needs to provide support and work overlapping hours up until 12 PM CST on weekdays

Create high quality outcomes
In your role, you will be responsible for:
Designing, configuring, and maintaining Workday Core Compensation, and Advanced Compensation processes.
Collaborating with Workday Core and Compensation Product Owners, and business stakeholders to understand core and compensation requirements and translate them into effective system configurations within the Workday.
Designing and configure Baker Hughes ongoing Advanced Compensation to support various employee populations, including base salary structures, variable pay plans, bonuses, incentives, and equity programs.
Partnering with the Workday Compensation Product Owner to prioritize and manage required system changes to deliver changes as required by the business.
Understanding the internal change management process to ensure adherence to our internal review and audit processes.
Conducting system testing, validate configurations, and ensure accuracy and integrity of data within the Workday system.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of compensation programs with other HR systems and processes.
Providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to core and compensation modules and configurations.
Analyzing compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement, and make recommendations to enhance the overall compensation strategy.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Workday Compensation are preferred.
Have extensive experience in configuring and implementing Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation module for global organizations.
Have strong understanding of compensation principles, practices, and methodologies.
Have proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with the ability to interpret and present complex compensation data effectively.
Have basic understanding of Workday Core, Recruiting, and Talent modules and their integration points with advanced compensation.
Knowledge of Time and Absence configuration is a plus.
Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Have ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Have Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
