Russia’s Gazprom Neft first-half profit drops 54%

Moscow — Russian oil producer Gazprom Neft’s first-half net profit attributable to shareholders fell 54% year-on-year to 150.5 billion roubles ($1.86 billion), according to the company’s financial results published on Wednesday.

The company’s revenue in January-June declined 12% to 1.77 trillion roubles, it said.

Its board recommended a dividend payout of 17.3 roubles per share.
