Record oil and gas revenue associated with Texas properties. Process natural gas plant allocations. Coordinate with regulatory team to remit and report severance taxes for oil and gas sales, Federal and State royalties. Prepare monthly revenue accruals, process invoices, and monitor pipeline imbalances. Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries. Support audits. Review and process division of interest changes received from Land Administration. Respond to royalty owner inquiries and work on special projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting desired. A business degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 hours of Accounting will be considered. 3+ years of oil and gas revenue accounting experience required. CPA a plus. Working knowledge of and ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles. Position requires sound analytical ability. Ability to gather and communicate data logically, accurately, and concisely.  Must be able to meet rigorous deadlines and work effectively with others.  Must be proficient with MS Excel. Knowledge of SQL and MS Query a plus.
 
 
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
