Business Development Manager

Our Client is construction company headquartered in mainland Europe but undertaking Malta projects from their local office in the central region.

The organisation now seeks a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join the Malta team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing construction projects, and overseeing administrative functions within our company.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Source investors/properties for construction contracts and represent the company to property owners/developers, Project Managers, and Architects
• Maintain a detailed database of clients, project managers, developers, architects, investors, and other stakeholders
• Develop relationships with all banks and financing entities in Malta
• Assist in the preparation of feasibility studies and business plans
• Identify and monitor tenders for public and private construction projects
• Coordinate participation in tenders for construction projects
• Provide high-level project supervision & contract management in collaboration with on-site engineers and quantity surveyors
• Coordinate engineering team
• Communicate with clients, Project Managers, and Architects as the primary representative of the contractor
• Maintain a detailed database of clients, subcontractors, suppliers, project managers, Architects, and other stakeholders
• Supervise and manage day-to-day business development activities of the company in Malta
• Provide monthly progress reports to management
• Draft and certify company monthly payments
• Create and monitor operational expenses of the branch
• Supervise company personnel
• Represent and liaise with public authorities

Talent will have:

• University degree in a technical field
• Excellent command of the English language
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Initiative, flexibility, and a proactive approach
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Experience in the construction industry is highly appreciated
