Construction Manager – Solar, Comanche County

Airswift is seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Manager to support our client on large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. The position is to work in Comanche County, TX for an initial 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of commissioning and operations activities
• Maintain strong HSE standards and oversee incident reporting
• Manage site documentation and project performance data
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and third-party contractors on site
• Perform routine maintenance, QA/QC inspections, and asset condition assessments
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and work scope development
• Monitor site performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
• Oversee contractor performance, schedules, payments, and compliance
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (NERC, OSHA, environmental)
• Manage site inventory and spare parts
• Lead meetings, reporting, and stakeholder coordination
• Train and mentor team members
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall execution

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• ~6+ years in construction/project management (energy preferred)
• Experience with renewable energy projects (solar/BESS a plus)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read construction drawings and manage multiple projects
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
